Higher Greenway Annexe

The location is absolutely perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet and great scenery, which we were. You can walk to NT Greenway which was a real bonus and it's still quite close to local amenities. All in all a lovely short break, thank you.

It would benefit from a bit of a spring clean and it's starting to look a little tired around the edges but nothing that spoiled our visit.

The property is amazing from the view to the facilities, the owner is also so lovely, can’t fault anything about it!

Lovely location- quiet and pretty countryside… fabulous to see the steam train running through the valley Nice kitchen area and lounge Upper patio views gorgeous Key access and parking facility

Very uncomfortable bed… itchy bed linen- sand found in linen from previous guest, Shower room / toilet required access through the main bedroom - privacy compromised and adults in second bedroom had limited access overnight- was not aware of this situation from advert or photos! Twin room beds very small- child sized! Only one small bath towel supplied per guest- stayed 4 days..and 1 hand towel to share! Soiled and dirty dishcloths and sponges- not particularly welcoming- no milk supplied for beverages on arrival. Concrete steps leading up to annexe very steep, narrow and poor handrail facility. Patio cushions available but soaked, as storage facility lid had been left open. Needs some attention to detail- potential to be amazing!

Spacious: 2 bedrooms with kitchen/dining/lounge area. Facilities: Kitchen had fridge and washing machine which we used. Nice view (but was too cold, rainy and windy to use outdoor area. The place is essentially a fully self-contained 2 bedroom unit so compared to our previous stays at places that are just (bedroom plus bathroom/toilet) it was great to be able to spread out. For us, it was an excellent place to stay.

Location was fairly rural (which was great) but the property was difficult to find and the written instructions provided were certainly not clear enough. When we arrived, we had no idea which part was called the ‘annexe’: no signs, had to phone for advice. Surely a sign is not too difficult to provide. Never saw a person at all, so no ‘staff’ to rate really. 13 external steps to reach so not suitable for someone with a mobility impairment.

What a wonderful find! Location and views are absolutely stunning! Annexe is lovely and beds really comfortable. Everything you could need is provided and the owner was really helpful. Loved seeing the steam train pass by and hearing it toot and then the views of the Dart too, just beautiful. We will definitely return.

This the best booking we have ever.made.Its not just a stay ,it's an experience. Everything about our stay was more than you hoped for. A fabulous location with spectacular views. The annex was spacious,tastfully fit out and the host was very helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. We would definitely book again

It would have been good to see some fresh milk in the fridge,but I did bring my own as i wasnt sure what to expect and glad I did.Having said th9s,I'm.sure the host would have pop0ed.some.innof I had requested it
