Homely. Comfortable sofa’s. Outdoor barbecue. Cooking and washing available. Colourful decor.

Weak internet. Sliding bathroom door without lock.

The place was cute and liked all the paintings. It's in a good location and everything is within walking distance - beach, restaurant, grocery store, train, bus. Host were pleasant and nice to meet.

Excellent location, in a quiet neighbourhood 2 minutes from the bus stop and 10 minutes from the touristic town centre. Beautiful house, lovely interior design, and stylish. Private little yard/garden with sitting area and sun loungers to relax after an exploring day . Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, all very stylish and clean. Two bedrooms with 1 double and 2 single beds. Washing machine available. Many towels, hair dryer. Welcoming bottle of wine and biscuits

The double bed was actually a queen size bed and the mattress was too soft. One of us tried the single bed for a night but it was as hard as sleeping on the floor. The water in the shower took long to get warm and was a bit temperamental. Same for the toilet flush.

A lovely, unique little house. Loved all the paintings on the walls. Perfect base for Cascais. 20 minute walk into the main town and 3 minute walk from Lidl. The walk back from the town is slightly uphill but Bolt/Uber is so cheap it cost less than €4 each way. Felt very safe as 3 women and the little garden area was lovely too. The host was great, check in and check out was perfect. A very cost effective way of staying in Cascais. Would definitely visit again.

Only negative is the fans weren't powerful at all. It was only early 20s the week we went and the bedrooms were hot so I imagine it would have been unpleasantly hot during the hotter months.

We were delighted to begin our vacation in Cascais. The stay in Casa Buganvilia seemed to us to be very nice and cosy. However the house has a moisture problem (mold) on the walls. One night it was even raining inside ... At first we got little response from the owner. He will fix this in time though. Still, it is important to know if you book this location during a rainy period that it smells because of the humidity and there will be a "damp problem" (mold).
