"A easy to find roomy base for 2-4 people to explore the town, coast and Lisbon."

Lounge and garden were lovely for sitting out and relaxing. The train station is about 1km walk away with great access to coastal resorts and Lisbon.

Location was fine for us but it is up a long hill from the lovely town centre and beach area which for anyone with mobility issues is not ideal. There are buses around which could probably be used.

"Superb"

Accommodation was excellent with all facilities provided. Lovely welcome drink available with snacks.

As we were there for 5 days it would maybe have been nice to have a change of towels.

"Exceptional"

A fabulous space with the family's own beautiful artwork on the walls. Very well-equipped small kitchen and beautiful, well-chosen furnishings throughout. The private patio has a BBQ grill and is a sun trap. Less than 10 minutes downhill to the town/beaches (a taxi up costs about a fiver). Minutes from the village of Fontaínhas for Lidl, shops, hairdressers, pharmacy and restaurants. Overall a lovely place with friendly owners living next door. Highly recommended.

A very charming and cozy little house. Beautiful outside terrace/backyard (Unfortunately it was raining but it must be great at good weather): Very nice, polite and helpful hosts. Parking in the street is free and i always found a spot. Area doesn’t feel touristy but still has plenty of restaurants and big LIDL store in walking distance.

Not much. Bathroom is on the smaller side if you travel as a group, walk-in shower is nice though.

We loved the place. Not in the middle of the turistic area but close enough to reach the center and the main beaches on foot. Nice independant house with lovely handmade paintings. Very pleasant outdoor space with barbecue and everything needed for a relax holiday. Very pleasant household with a welcoming present (bottle of wine & biscuits) upon our arrival. Encore merci.

One of the single bed had a matress that wasn't very comfortable for an adult but I suppose okay for a young kid.
