Manganelli Suite Apartment

-the host was very friendly and helpful. He kindly allowed us to stay until late in the afternoon, as our flight was in the evening and it was too hot to be outside. -to welcome us, he also left some fruit, water and a bottle of wine for us! -the apartment was in the center of Catania, therefore we could visit most of the archeological monuments etc on foot. -apartment was nicely decorated, clean and bed comfortable. -a/c was working just fine in all rooms, a must for summer time. -there were 2 toilets/showers. -parking was possible opposite the apartment for a few hours (Municipal parking) but better and safer in a private parking 5 minutes walking distance. Even though the parking said €6 /day, we were paying about €9 for 16 hours stay.

-to enter the apartment which was in the second floor, we had to climb a staircase, so it was really difficult with our luggage. There was another narrow staircase inside the apartment that led to the bedroom. I should mention that this is very typical for most Sicilian old apartments that have been renovated, but elevators are not added simply because there is no space!

Great location. Very walkable. We could park nearby. High class interior. Hist greeted us for easy check in. Place was clean and quiet.

Bellissimo e moderno appartamento in centro a Catania dotato di tutti i comfort e con vetri insonorizzati. Il letto super comodo con cuscini memory foam. Per la colazione c’era a disposizione anche la macchinetta per fare il cappuccino e il frullatore. L’appartamento in generale super pulito e tenuto perfettamente in ordine. Talmente bello che sembrava di dormire in una galleria d’arte.

Roberto is an exceptional host. Our flight was delayed, we got to the apartment close to midnight. Roberto not only waited for us to show us around, but also drove us to the closest car park, waited for us to park our car and then drove us back to the apartment. The apartment is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. We were 3 adults staying there and returning to the cool apartment [air-conditioned throughout] was lovely. Communication was extremely easy by Whatsapp and Roberto speaks English and is very responsive. We checked out at 2pm which was very comfortable for us. The apartment is accessed using keys not a code.

Everything was perfect for us, however there is no lift and there are two flights of stairs. This was not an issue for us.

Manganelli Suite was in a fabulous central location. Our host Roberto was very accommodating and helpful. There on arrival and showed us all around his beautiful apartment. Very stylish and decorated well. Veey spacious with bedroom upstairs and own bathroom.Such a lovely surprise was the beautiful fresh fruit platter in the fridge as well as biscuits and prosecco and water - very welcoming gifts for his guests. It was great to explore Catania from this apartment- everything was close and station was only 15- 20 mins walk away. Would highly recommend 👌

The stairs up to bedroom were quite steep - I think a stylish handrail along the wall would be a welcome addition

The apartment is immaculate, elegant and very comfortable. It is beautifully decorated. It's very central and within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, historic sites. Roberto was proactive and provided great advice re car parking and restaurants/bars. There's a lot to do in Catania. Highly recommended.

- Comfortable, spacious, clean apartment exactly in line with description and photos - Great location - Host very helpful; met us at property at 12.00 immediately following our flight, so didn't have to wait until mid afternoon as with other properties. Showed us round, answered any questions and explained things where required. He checked up a few day's later and at our request / payment arranged a taxi to take us to the airport

Absolutely the perfect place to stay in Catania with the most attentive, kindest host! The apartment exceeded our expectations—it was far more spacious and airy than it appeared in the photos. We especially loved the cosy ambient lighting, the beautiful balcony, and the excellent location. The interior design was elegant and clearly well thought-out, nothing like the generic ready-made style you often find in tourist rentals. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and having two bathrooms was a real convenience. A personal highlight for me was the smart home features: connecting to the Wi-Fi was effortless with a QR code, the upstairs ceiling windows operated via smart switches, and the smart TV had every app and was super easy to use. And of course, a special thanks to our host, Roberto, who truly made the experience complete. He was kind, responsive, and provided everything we needed throughout our stay. We also really appreciated his understanding when we accidentally broke two of the decorative pieces (please don’t repeat our mistakes, the house is decorated with local design pieces). All in all, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!
