Manganelli Suite Apartment

Location is perfect in a center of the city.

Apartment is picture perfect, nicely decorated, very attractive, but unfortunately not practical. Old building has very high floor and it cleverly divided, making some kind of loft with double bed upstairs, very uncomfortable, with no windows, we was forced to put AC in October. First floor has a lot of pretty odd and ends, but beds has to be taken from the wall and it leave no place in a room. Lighting again is pretty, but not useful, - we have trouble to use it in bathroom to shave or put make up. Apartment is good for magazine cover, but almost impossible for living.

The apartment is simply amazing and immaculate - the best place we've ever stayed. We felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel. The space has been used very cleverly and there was plenty of room for us (family of 3), and all the amenities we needed. The location is excellent as well, and Roberto directed us to a parking space that was very reasonable and permitted 24-hour parking that was only 5 minutes walk away.

Having to leave! We could have stayed for a week very happily.

The most beautiful apartment in Catania. So cozy, spacious and comfortable. It is furnished with a lot of love and impeccable taste. As soon as you enter, you feel the owner's desire and effort to make his guests feel comfortable. Impeccable!🫠 It's even better in person! It has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay. It's in a renovated old building in the historic part of the city. Very close to the train station. There is a great secure parking nearby. The terrace.... the terrace... great view 🤩 I can't wait to get up with a cup of coffee (coffee machine available, with wonderful coffee) to watch Catania wake up. Everything inside is very tastefully selected, the bedding, the pillows, the beds...immaculate! Two bathrooms...🫠everyone will appreciate it properly! Thank you for the attention, hospitality and impeccable apartment you provided us! We are so grateful! Thank you for taking care of the children too, with fruits, snacks and chocolate! No words! Room was excellent. Really well designed space that allowed us to sleep 3 in separate beds and had excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Roberto the owner was really helpful, he met us on the street, showed us around and explained everything in the apartment, and even let us check out later free of charge since he didn't have any guests the next day.

Roberto was such a lovely, kind and generous host. He met us at the apartment, showed us around and gave us some lovely recommendations on where to eat locally. The apartment is beautiful, even nicer than in the photos, with lots of lovely thoughtful design touches. Wonderful location, near to all the main sights & bus to the airport. Grazie Robie!

Maybe have a dustpan & brush so we could sweep the floor before leaving, it was so clean on arrival we wanted to leave it just as spotless when we left! Also would be handy to have a couple of sharp knives for preparing food. These are only small things, we loved this property!

The apartment was sparkling clean and in the best possible location for our visit to Catania. The air conditioning worked really well, which was critical given we visited in July and it was very hot (often 38°+). The apartment is cleverly designed and almost everything is brand new. And Roberto was the friendliest, most helpful and kindest host that anyone could hope for. We were so impressed with the service and the overall amenity of the apartment 5⭐️ in every sense of the word.

Honestly, not much. What I would say is that the two single beds are best suited to a family with younger children. We travelled with our young adult daughters (23 and 20) and we didn’t appreciate that the single beds were not in a separate bedroom (you pull them down and they are in two separate living areas). For young children, this would be fine, but for older ones, they struggled with the lack of privacy and space. That’s really the only thing I’d say.

Best apartment of our trip to Sicily! Roberto was a wonderful host. He renovated this apartment himself with a lot of attention to detail. It’s a beautiful apartment. Our family of four was very comfortable - two single beds in the lower level and a double upstairs in the master suite. And two full bathrooms. Very comfortable mattresses! And fantastic location, just off the main street of Catania. Wish we could have stayed longer here!

It is a lot larger than I imagined (a loft with stairs) and a tremendous value for the price we paid. More space than you would need for a couple and 2 bathrooms is a huge plus. Everything was very well designed and the host was great. No elevator but stairs were pretty easy to get up

We had an issue with hot water only lasting 5 minutes, but the host came and reset the heater and it worked fine after that.
