Ferny Hill Retreat, Emerald Victoria

The moment you stepped inside you noticed the artwork and the hidden surprises in every corner. The fresh loaf of crusty bread and all the breakfast choices that were supplied were a nice touch. It was so peaceful and the gardens were very nice.

The property has undercover guest parking, it is quirky and quaint, bed is delicious, sheets are lovely, kitchen condiments are plentiful, you are warm and toasty, water pressure is amazing, what’s not to love about this getaway :)

What a lovely host and a beautiful little home away from home. Wished we had more time to explore all on offer.

Carmel was so friendly, she gave breakfast like tomato, bread , milk and had great breakfast with number of cereals, eggs even in the apartment there was salt, pepper, rock salt , sauces and butter and many other things were there as what every you need in breakfast. Really i liked everything over there Apart from this the bed mattress was so comfy , and she decorated every corner of the house . If i talk about location that is good , who wants peaceful environment they must go there …. Moreover toilet and bathroom with good condition, i really my stay there .

Carmel greeted us when we arrived even though we got there late after dark. She was very friendly showing us all the best parts of the stay and even provided us with a lovely loaf of bread, eggs and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was very quirky but we loved everything about it! Every drawer and cupboard had something exciting for us to see or do. The property itself was beautiful even provided with bird seed to watch the birds in the morning.

Great location just outside of Emerald with lots of tranquility. Carmel was very welcoming and provides a great set up for a family stay.

Carmel was the most gracious host. She’s filled every single draw in the house with everything you could possibly need on your stay - games, card games, couple connection games. There are birds right outside and the most beautiful fire pit. The breakfast items were delicious and most of all, you can feel the heart Carmel has put into making this place as special as it is. Exceptional stay, would recommend it to anyone! Even toys and entertainment for children if you have them.
