Very clean and maximum facilities are available.

Close to the city centre. Responsive host when we couldn't access the property. On road parking was plentiful.

Wrong code given for key safe. No plug socket on one side of the bed. Uncomfortable bed. Bedroom door didn't close properly. Mould in bathroom. Bathroom door rattled. Sofas are uncomfortable and not as advertised.

In general the house was dirty. Dirt and cobwebs on woodwork and ceilings, Kitchen facilities very limited and very old, oven is dangerous and not secured to the base unit so when you open the oven door the oven comes out. Also knobs were disgusting. Cooker hood extractor not working, even though it is switched on at the mains. Carpets in kitchen dirty and sticky, slopping and spongy floors. Tiles cracked in the kitchen too. Bedrooms both mattresses worn out, no support and springs bonging every time you turn over or move. Wardrobes and chest of drawers very old and battered with doors not closing properly and hanging off. Bathroom is by far the best room in the house, obviously recently renovated but let down with mould building up in the corners and edges due to lack of cleaning. No net curtains or blinds in the property just curtains, so no privacy at all. Only room that had pull down blinds was the kitchen. In general most of the property has just been white washed very badly with the decorating skills of nursery school infant. This property is simply not acceptable for any rental whether private or the holiday market. Certainly not value for money.

Read arrival instructions as house has 2 doors and sits between 2 roads a door on each . We were given the wrong key code, but a quick phone call gave us the correct one. Location excellent for going to football match. The accommodation is quite 'tired' phots on booking.com were clearly taken some time ago. Wardrobe in main photo has broken door and drawers, towels were a real mishmash only 2 bath towels, but 5 hand towels for 3 adults. We couldn't sit comfortably in sitting room as both settees were well past their life- springs and dips ++. There is NO hairdryer- despite advert saying there is. The kitchen isn't that well stocked with utensils and NO oven trays - so come prepared. I have messaged the owner with this feedback so hopefully it can be improved - if so then this would be a little gem.
