Road noise at night must be dealt with earplugs. I take it as a toll from the good location 🤷‍♂️

location is good. You can walk to center on foot. Bakery is close by.

Very well equipped, clean and big apartment. It had everything needed for a longer stay in Funchal. Free underground parking is also a big advantage.

The apartments have a garage where you can keep a car overnight and safe. Washing machine came in handy and the shower is very powerful. It's fairly quiet at night. Large rooms. Windows in the bedroom and living room have secondary external slatted shutter doors allowing you to get good ventilation whilst maintaining privacy. Josè the host took me to the airport at 5am the day I left for £25, cheaper than a taxi which will cost €35 to €40

The bed was fairly hard, although I'm used to one much softer. Personal choice. A bit of road noise from outside but nothing too bad at night this subsides to practically noting. The main entrance door slams very hard so if you have people come in and out late at night It can be a issue. Its a steep hill to walk from the main strip of Funchal, others might find this too much. I rented a motorbike so wasn't a issue for those 4 days.

The host is very nice and helpful, he managed the airport taxi for us and it was great. The appartment is very well equipped, with two balconies, it is spacious. The location is excellent.

The noise from the street

Great stay.

Sometimes you get a lot of noise from the street. Air conditioning would be useful, but fortunately you get a fan.
