Santa Luzia Apartment

The flat was nice and comfortable.

We had to wait for the keys to be handed over when we arrived. (10-15 min). It was very hot outside at that time. The location was loud next to the busy street.

Very central

A bit noisy due to traffic on main road

Nice and helpful host. Apartment well decorated and well equipped. Very good location, you can walk to the center. A small shop and a delicious bakery close to the house. A private parking space in the underground garage is a big plus.

Jose is a perfect host. So friendly and helpful. We arrived very late but that was not a problem for him. He also arranged a taxi from the airport for us. Nice and clean apartment . We had a great stay , most likely we will return and we will recommend Jose and his lovely apartment to our friends. P.S. thank you for a bottle of wine, bottle of water and biscuits. It was very needed after a long day , especially the wine ;-) Thanks again for a nice stay.

The owner of the apartment Mr. Pereira was waiting for us at midnight and kindly explained everything about the apartment. The apartment is located on the second floor, it is very comfortable, fully equipped and very clean. There was a welcome gift on the tabe: bottle of wine and typical Madeiran sugar cane cookies. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. Since there is are big parking problems in Funchal it is very important that there is a parking space available in the basement of the building.

The building has no heating and we were quite cold in the morning and in the evening ( February ). Luckily there was a small heater in the apartment which helped a lot.
