Funchal City Apartments

I like really liked the location of the apartment. Everything was nearby such as restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket (in Plaza) which was literally 2 mins away. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable bed, spacious living room, bathroom and bedroom.

I was happy with the kitchen, but it could have been better to have an oven. Air conditioner could help in the apartment as it was really hot during night time. These are just minor problems. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this apartment. I would definitely come back again. I highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a comfy place.

Vynikajúca poloha

V ubytovaní počas celého nášho pobytu neznesiteľne páchla kanalizácia. Po nahlásení problému majiteľ povedal že si mame nájsť iné ubytovanie, problém sa nedá odstrániť. Nakoniec nám poskytol finančnú kompenzáciu.

Asunto siisti ja toimiva. Hyvällä sijainnilla eri kohteisiin.

Näkymä ikkunasta masentava ränsistyneen vastapäisen talon vuoksi. Meteli aamu 7 alkaen kestäen 8tuntia vastapäisen rakennustyömaan vuoksi melkein kestämätön. Oli kolmas kerta meillä majoittumiseen, mutta tod.näk.viimeinen. Rakennusmelun vuoksi ei vastannut odotuksia. Tilanne tietenkään ei ole pysyvä.

Great location, comfortable beds, parking option was very close by and easy, bathroom was modern and clean, check-in/out and staff were good.

Positives were overshadowed by a terrible smell of onions/cooking every time another apartment used their cooking fan - it came straight into the apartment and stayed there. My clothes still smelled of it when I got home. Very unpleasant - should have been warned about this. There was also no air con and the apartment was very hot and stuffy even in October/nearly November.

Loved the apartment - was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities and LOVED the location too! Was literally a few mins walk to the bakeries, mall, bus stop, restaurants and so on. The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful too.

There was nothing I disliked.
