Funchal City Apartments

The good thing about it was the location. It was a few steps from downtown. Excellent access to all transportation. Supermarkets such as (pingo doce) and all other stores restaurants, cafés within walking distance.

What I didn’t like about it was no balcony you could not look into the street. Early evenings the smell of other people cooking came through the kitchen vent. There was no outlet in the bathroom for use of hair dryer. The entryway and the elevator had a nasty smell. Some days we had to hold our breath.

Great location. Cleanliness. Helpful, friendly host.

Too slow internet. From time to time, a strange smell in apartment.

Everything was clean and fully equipped, staff was friendly and always available online, 1 min distance from mall, cafes and coffee shops

- Supplies of the apartment (1 capsule of coffee and 1 capsule for a washing machine) - It could be noisy on the streets cause it is close to the center

We loved our stay at the City Apartments. Had great communication with our host and she was able to help us with anything we asked. The place is lovely and the location was perfect for us as it was less than a ten minutes walk to all the center areas restaurants, port, etc.
