Funchal City Apartments

Host was very helpful and kind. Apartment was close to shopping mall and city center. Room was little bit old but clean and cozy.

Only having one key. The windows opened in and were hazardous as they could not be secured and caused injury on more than one occasion.

The hostess was efficient and responsive. The unit is very clean, perfect location. For what we paid and what we got, no complaints. If you watching your budget but want clean and prime location...this is the spot.

Unfortunately, didn't realize doesn't have an air-conditioning unit. My bad, didn't catch that in the booking. But the hostess was fantastic and immediately brought over two more fans, including the one already there when I explained didn't realize no AC and asthmatic need the air to move around. After that, no issues, slept just find.

Great location. A shopping center is nearby. Clean and comfortable.

A bottle of drinking water could be provided for guests upon arrival. But this is just a suggestion :)

Location is in the centre, apartment is very clen, kitchen is equipped with what you need, bathroom is spacious

The ventilation in the building/ kitchen is not good. When the neighbour below fried food, all the fumes were in our kitchen. This happened every night. We aired the room by keeping the windows opened in the same time as turning on the stove hood, but couldn't stay in the room.

Excellent location. Very close to supermarket and transport links. Easy to reach from aerobus. Good selection of places to eat in back streets beyond cathedral at very reasonable prices

No indication on door apart from number that we were in the right place. Thought we were in a block of apartments with reception. First time booked accommodation online so unsure what to expect

This was a very central location. The apartment is simple and cheerful and bed clean and comfy. They also arranged for transport from the airport which was very nice.

The ventilation in the building could be improved, but this is often a problem in buildings in Portugal. Sometimes the entry door to the building was not properly pulled shut, which concerned me.
