Glasgow Southside: Cosy 2 Bedroom Apartment

The property. exceeded our expectations. The flat was close to public transport, the whole place was clean and very bright, and the hosts provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Value for money is amazing, would definitely stay here again.

The only issue we had was with the door. It would sometimes stick and not open despite us turning the key the right way. Wouldn't say it had a big impact on the stay or our thoughts of the property though.

It was cheap. I know you get what you paid for but those pictures are very misleading!

The area where the apartment is it's quite rough. Trash everywhere, old buildings, not the friendliest looking people... If I was alone I would have been afraid to stay there. The apartment is very out dated it needs to be renovated. Dirty damp walls, dirty beds (only the bed sheets looked clean but the base of the beds are all stained.) Kitchen is very poorly equipped, no tea bags, sugar, nothing. Living room sofa is dented. 2nd bedroom beds were the same. Mattress are way too soft and dented. Bedroom is mouldy, shower curtain is dirty, walls have holes in them. Wires are hanging out from the wall. Pictures of the property is very misleading, they look good but in person it was very disappointing.

The property was immaculately clean.

The double bed was so uncomfortable you could feel all the springs in the mattress. The settee was very uncomfortable impossible to sit on for any length of time. There were holes in the wall in the bathroom. The area that the property was set in was very deprived and not safe. It was full of dilapidated properties with discarded furniture and rubbish in the front gardens.

Didn't feel safe in the area, the flat was in a very rough area i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The location is good. Central for access to the city but in a quiet street. Secure entrance with fob. The flat is spacious The response from the manager, when I contacted him, was excellent and efficient

There were very limited kitchen utensils. There was no plug for the sink. Very basic. The whole flat felt a bit neglected, poor decor, signs of dampness, broken drawers & headboards and holes in the bathroom walls. Our main issue was with the mattresses. They were replaced as soon as we asked. And the bedding, although clean, was past its best

Good location. Ideal furnishing. Security entrance.

Only 2 spoons were found in the cutlery cupboard when 4 was needed for soup. The iron board collapsed on us and nearly caused injury. It is broken. Some bare wires in the cupboard in the kitchen, see photo.

There was a lack of kitchen essentials. No tea bags and sugar pot were empty

The location was great near the city centre. The house was clean.

The main bedroom matress was worn out and so soft that I was sinking in it and couldn't get sleep. The bathroom had 2 lights overhead and every time the boiler was on and tried to shower water was pouring down from one of the lights. That was a massive electricity risk and flood risk and we was not able to use the shower and bathroom. Shameful for travelers.
