RiverSide Suite - Haarlem City Centre

Great location overlooking the river with a windmill opposite. Very picturesque. 10 mins from the rail station and from Haarlem it's 20 mins by rail into Amsterdam. So nice to be away from the bustle of the city. Lovely host who was extremely thoughtful and kind. The perfect room with everything we needed and so much more. Strong recommend.

It was fine for us but if you struggle with steep, narrow stairs, you would need to reconsider staying here. This is completely normal for many Dutch properties.

It’s beautifully furnished with a wonderful private terrace. Stunning view and minutes from centre. The Host is amazing, v friendly and helpful and v respectful of privacy. Everything you could want for a perfect break in this amazing town.

The suite was even more exquisite in person. The host was charming and provided thoughtful information and discrete communication during our stay. The bed was not too soft, not too hard - just right. The location was about a ten minute walk to the Grote Markt area with lots of restaurants and shopping.

The one flight of stairs is steep! Not for anyone with unsteady legs.

Wonderful hostess, great location with superb riverside view. Close to the city center yet very quiet too.

The breakfast was fantastic and the views out the window were really lovely. Great spot.

Monique cares a great deal about her guests and made us feel welcome. We had everything we needed during our stay and enjoyed the view, the kitchenette to cook meals and the comfortable bed. We would highly recommend! :)

We had a wonderful time! Had a great view from our window of the Adriaan windmill and canal. Always something to see. Very easy to walk to the Grote Markt where there is a fantastic Saturday market, and numerous restaurants. It was easy to book day excursions on the GettheGuide app, for in the city or to different places.

This was an amazing bed and breakfast and Monique our host was just wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and provided so many great recommendations we ate at two of her restaurant recommendations and they were a 10/10! We also rode bikes to the beach per her recommendation and it was the best day of the whole trip! We got the breakfast service she provided one of the mornings and it was the best breakfast I've ever had staying at a B&B / hotel!! It was so much food and we ate on it from breakfast, lunch and an after dinner snack! The room itself was super cool and the bed was beautiful and comfortable. The view of the windmill was surreal and I just can't say enough good things about our host and the space. Great location too!!
