We loved the beautiful creative decor ,airy room with balcony, the view, the hospitality and the personal touches from the host. The location is excellent and walking distance from bus station.

Very steep stairs

The only downside I'd say is the stairs to get to your room are steep and narrow, we managed ok but would be a struggle for anyone not good on there feet.

This place is in a wonderful location, a short walk to old town and the area where we wanted to explore and right on a canal with a view of a working windmill and activity in Haarlem. Monique went out of her way to let us know about events in the area as well as to assist in other ways. The breakfast was superb, and plenty for two days for us.

Riverside Suite had everything we needed and provided those things at a level of high quality. The only suggestion I would make is perhaps to have a bit brighter lighting available in the sitting area. It was perfect during the day, but a bit dim at night - on the romantic, cozy side, but a little bit of a challenge if trying to read.
