Lovely welcome by owners :) location behind castle gate . Well equipped kitchen . Strong WiFi. We are allowed to stay a bit longer , but only a bit as I had work call when working remotely . Really big

You need to remember that you stay in old historical building , not renovated recently so it has a little moldy smell .

The location was great (within the fortified walls of Marvao, walking distance to everything). Note that this property has two units: the larger is on the second story with more windows and light, a balcony and views over the city walls. The first floor unit is small and quite dark with small windows looking at the walls.

The first floor accomodations are rustic and very dark with only a few small windows that look directly at the fortifications. During heavy rain the front door becomes a waterfall as all the runoff from the roof cascades along that side of of the house. It might be a good idea to add a very small roof over the entrance that diverts that water to the sides.

Wow, this place is wonderful.. Lovely hosts who explained everything in detail. (Via translate as no English spoken). The apartment has everything you need. Brilliant location and easy to park where instructed that is only 20 meters from apartment. You will need cash, and there is an ATM in the village. The castle is amazing and the sunset from there is stunning. Dinner at Dom Manuel Hotel highly recommended. The apartment was warm and comfortable and the views from every window and the terrace were breathtaking. Another great thing is there is plenty of room to spread our. You will not be disappointed.
