"Lovely stay with a nice view"

The host was very responsive we arrived at 3 am in the night and had problems with getting the key but she responded immediately and solved the problem!

The parking lot was very small and only one space straight behind the house was left. There was a hidden stone behind the wall that scratched my rental car which was frustrating. Everything else was great though!

I liked the location of the lodgings, and the host's attention to our needs/

Marvao had a problem with earwigs at the time of our stay. It was not the lodging's fault, and indeed this problem was throughout the town. That is the only thing we did not like about our stay in Marvao - but this lodging and the host were great.

Very cozy house in a great location to explore this amazing little gem of a castle/hamlet. Step out of the front door and your on the castle walls with views to die for, amazing!

"Great place that offers rare opportunity to stay and explore a remarkable castle stronghold with history."

Property was large, well equipped and comfortable but best of all was its location which affords the chance to stay overnight in a magical and historic setting!

Some of the interior was a bit dated - but still fully serviceable.
