"Lovely Marvao"

Perfect location in Marvao with a fabulous view. Great walk around the walls and the castle and museum are well worth visiting. Marvao is a beautiful village, we were so glad we stayed there for a few days. There is a shop and a few restaurants and cafes or a really good supermarket 10 minutes drive away at Castelo de Vide. We did the Rail Bike Marvao trip which was fantastic.

No cushions on the balcony seats and it was quite untidy. The beds were uncomfortable but didn't spoil our stay.

"Excellent location for a history bluff."

no breakfast provided, however the host had left coffee and tea. A full kitchen, coffee pot and capsul machine. Accommodations within the walls of the fortress, wonderful location for exploring on your own.

"Super experience."

The guest house was impeccable, a large and spacious house with a wonderful balcony overlooking the valley. Our hostess was friendly, warm and very obliging. A wonderful stay in a super spot. Highly recommended.

The location was unbelievable! Right along the castle walls. The welcoming fire upon arrival was nice and of course, similar to other reviews, our host Marcilena was so helpful and kind.
