Scorr House Apartment

Excellent facilities in the apartment, spotlessly clean, brilliant shower and had well thought of added extras. Peaceful and private location with an excellent view across the bay to Portree with views of the Old Man of Storr in the distance.

From the moment of booking our accommodation at Scorr House, the hosts made contact with us and kindly provided a variety of restaurants and activities in Portree, which gave us an opportunity to book in advance any we were interested in.(Isle of Skye is very popular!) On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely 'welcome pack' (including a wee bottle of whisky which the Isle of Skye is renowned for) The apartment was spotless and beautifully presented, having everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A big tick - for the comfy bed✔️ Another big tick for a well set out bathroom✔️ And the biggest tick would have to be for the perfect setting overlooking the water and views of the magnificent mountains✔️✔️ Very relaxing and would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere near Portree on the Isle of Skye.

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful and modern apartment with a dreamy water view! Loved the view every morning. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom was fabulous with a waterfall shower. Location is on a quiet inlet but only 3 miles from the main town of Portree. Isle of Skye is very remote, so having the main town of Portree close by was great to go shopping and get something to eat. I highly recommend getting some groceries in the off season months, if you are staying for 3 or more days. Not as many places open to eat, and gets pitch black early…and after a long day of hiking or sightseeing, you will be too tired to go out. It was nice to be able to make some simple meals.

The apartment is lovely and has everything you need but the best part is the fabulous view across the water to Kilt rock in the distance. Magic.

The roads into the apartment are a bit tricky, as are so many of the roads in Skye, but these are better than some roads to major tourist attractions. Also we were sent excellent detailed instructions which made things easier.

The apartment is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need and finished to a very high standard.

The property location and views are beyond words beautiful. It was clean, comfortable and luxurious. Hosts were super accommodating and proactive.

We loved everything about the apartment. It’s beautifully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay, with the added benefit of a stunning view. The owners are friendly & on hand if you need anything. I would recommend the property for anyone wanting a sensational stay in Skye.
