Scorr House Apartment

The home and kitchen were well equipped. We even managed to do our washing as they had a washer cum dryer which was very useful. The view of the sea was wonderful and it was conveniently close to Portree.

They did warn us of the pot holes on the road leading to the house but nothing to worry if you drive slowly. The beautiful view and house at the end of the road makes up for it. They had a extra long shower tray with a fantastic overhead shower head spray which was wonderful but maybe it also needs a non slip mat.

Isle of Skye was a highlight for us. Beautiful and quiet location - we loved waking up to see a distant view of the Old Man of Storr out front. The property had everything we needed and was very comfortable, with an amazing shower! Caitlin and Adam were wonderful and thoughtful hosts and despite our late check-in, they were quick to send us some recommendations for restaurants to check out for our stay.

The View is Fantastic.To see Portree and then the hills behind, including the old man of storr is amazing. Everything you need is there and the rain shower is a great bonus. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. Would rebook in a heartbeat.

Super Clean locatet at a beatiful place.

It felt like a little home away from home (we’re from Aus). Having a bit of room to spread out, put together our own meals and use the washing machine was so great. Plenty of hanging space with rails and fold out drying racks, and a couple of washing tablets included for us. The finishes in all the rooms especially bathroom and kitchen were just perfect - none of the dodgy renovation feel that we’ve had in other places! We were very spoilt with the classy bathroom. Very modern and well functioning appliances - microwave, oven, fridge (with freezer compartment). Fantastic heating. Not to mention spectacular views of the bay straight out the glass doors. Felt very private even though the owners live connected to the apartment. Lovely friendly hosts upon our arrival and kept in touch with me during the day before checkin when I provided updates about our estimated arrival time. The location was great, we had a rental car. A few minutes to Portree for shops, restaurants, groceries. Close enough to all of the sights/hikes, and not too far to head off the island when we left.

Absolutely no complaints.

The house was immaculately clean, the view was stunning, the shower was amazing and everything you could think of needing was there. Me and my partner were there for 3 nights and we did not want to leave. It was absolute perfection. We have already recommended this place to a number of friends and family and we will be back again. Sitting out on the decking watching the water was so calming. Really great location - we visited the fairy pools, Talisker distillery, Portree and also just went on our own adventures around the island. We absolutely loved it. If you are thinking of booking this place just do it, you will have no regrets!

Absolutely wonderful. The one-bedroom apartment was spotless and very comfortable with a nice living room, well appointed kitchen, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The home is right of the shore of Loch Portree and has beautiful views of the water. Beautiful and peaceful location. The couple that own Scorr House were amazing. We had a flat tire upon our arrival and Adam assisted us in contacting the rental car company, fielding phone calls regarding the tow truck, and even drove us to dinner in town that evening while our car was unusable. Clearly went above and beyond to assist us. We love to take day hikes and he also provided some excellent recommendations for walks on the Isle of Skye. Could not recommend Scorr House more highly.
