Scorr House Apartment

The apartment was incredibly well considered and appointed. All of the little things were included: welcoming treats, high quality fixtures, a large bathroom sink and walk-in shower, washer/drying and hang-drying racks, and a spectacular lake and mountain view from the front of the unit. A binder included suggested sites to visit, restaurants, and other useful information. We got a bit lost finding the apartment. We called Caitlan and she immediately drove to our location and guided us to the nearby apartment. Every question was promptly and thoroughly answered.

Parts of the island do not have wi-fi service, which can be disconcerting when relying on gps, nav/sat to get around. Having a map and/or satellite phone is helpful. There are lots of potholes on some, but not all, roads. Drivers are advised to be mindful of these.

Amazing location and very comfortable apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay

I had a minor medical issue (sprained ankle hiking Old Man of Storr) during my stay. Caitlin, who is also a nurse!, helped me to get the medical care I needed.

The clothes washer (a VERY nice and welcomed amenity) takes a very long time to dry clothes.

The location was fantastic with beautiful views back to Portree and over the sea. It was so quite and relaxing. Everything inside the accommodation wa was top quality. The little extras like fudge and whiskey were so nice. The shower was outstanding. Lots of room and hot.
