The apartment was right beside some of the nicest restaurants in the city, and walking distance from shops and tourist sights. The room is at the back of the building and you don't hear noise from the street. The neighbourhood was swimming with kids and dogs and was really friendly, with two playgrounds just down the road. Very gay-friendly too. Beautiful apartment with everything we needed (air con, WiFi, smart tv, cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dish washer, lovely rainforest style shower). Nice decoration, and the whole place felt really open and airy with glass walls everywhere. Lovely owner. He got in touch well in advance of our trip to explain how to use everything and where to find everything we needed. The door to the bedroom malfunctioned while we were there and he was really quick to send someone over to fix it. Really nice guy.

Not much to dislike! The issue with the door was a bit awkward but was fixed very quickly and with no hassle.
