Lovely 3 bed ground floor flat with free parking

Conveniently located for access to town and beaches. Sleeps 4 adults (plus 2 children) Easy parking.

TV was a bit of a faff to use. Only 1 key provided (4 adults staying)

From the rear of the property where the parking is, there is nothing to tell which flat you have rented. Booking.com sent the wrong code so we couldn’t get in. We tried calling several times but no answer. After a long drive, this is not what you need! Eventually someone called me back with the correct code. There needs to be something on the outside with the flat number. The flat location was ideal, however it was not very comfortable at all. I slept on the bottom bunk and the mattress was awful, barely there. I would not want children sleeping in this. The sofas are very uncomfortable too, probably made worse by my week long back ache caused by the mattress. I don’t think there are seat cushions on the sofa facing the kitchen! No one over 6ft would be able to use the bathroom sinks due to the little shelf and very small sink space. No way could we have lasted more than a week in there. Such a shame as the location is perfect.

Very clean and tidy when we arrived, the rooms were comfortable and the well equipped kitchen worked well, there was cooking oil and UHT milk available, very convenient position close to sea front, town centre and public transport. Communication was good with the host.

Location was ideal Comfortable beds. The flat was good enough despite a few niggles and we had a good holiday.

It would have been very helpful to have had some instructions about how things worked and where things were. For example, how the TV worked, the system for rubbish, the stove (we had to google the make to see how it worked), microwave, the laundry baskets we were asked to put dirty washing in (didn't find them) etc.etc. Some small bins in the bathrooms would have been helpful, also more tea towels.

The location was perfect, 5 minute walk into town or the beach. The bathrooms were modern, that there were 2 bathrooms was brilliant. Love that the parking space is right next to the apartment. Access to washing line. The apartment was clean & tidy. Having a washing machine was fantastic.

The bunk beds are very small, made for young children. My daughters (14 & 16) were hanging off the end! The sofas were not very comfortable. The hob is too small for a family and I couldn't turn the safety off of the oven.

Cleanliness was very poor and mould in en suite bedroom,dirt on curtains,shower water did not empty so stood in water to shower,shelf on mirror ridiculous as you bang your head when cleaning teeth. Back bedroom only 1 side lamp and bits left in drawers also dusty windowsill. . Bunk bedroom thick dust and cobwebs on windowsill. Bathroom had no grabrail so dangerous to get in and out for a shower same ridiculous shelf on mirror. Living room curtains came off the track every time you touched them,dirty backs of dining chairs,dirty windowsill,stupid place for the tv,needs to be wall mounted,cooker took hours to fathom out how to work even with reading the manual. Could not get heating to work as our clothes were wet so took days to dry out.Sofa too big and blocked some tv and door not opening fully. Loads of plates but only 5 random mugs not a nice matching set, needed more as there was a dishwasher. Tv issues, sometimes no reception at all. Dusty skirting boards in all rooms. Also was expected to strip beds before leaving !!! Dont expect to pay £100 cleaning fees for this! It would be a lovely flat if all the issues were addressed and a deep clean.
