Blue Belgrave

Absolutely wonderful and large property. There was 7 of us and we were all comfortable. The beds were so comfy and so were the sofa beds. A premier shop is below so perfect for grabbing milk and essentials. The kitchen and terrace is a perfect place to congregate all together and was fantastic and clean. The 2 bathrooms were modern and decorated lovely. Thank you so much for a wonderful apartment we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Nothing at all, perfect property and such a reasonable price

Location is pretty close to Torquay seafront and we were there for a concert. It's a big old place and plenty of room, beds were ok, quite comfortable. Able to park outfront which helped (but only overnight)

We were there on the hottest weekend of the year so windows had to be opened as it was hot as a living hell, it's above a launderette so this may contribute. The downside of the windows being open is that Belgrave Road is the drunken eatery capital of Torquay. Essentially it felt a bit like I was actually sleeping on the street at times. I suspect in cooler weather the windows can be closed and the noise level is just fine. If you're there to party then probably also going to be ok.

The property was spacious and comfortable and nicely furnished

Unfortunately we had some issues with the facilities. The temperature of the downstairs shower could not be regulated - either scalding or freezing. The basin plug in this room did not work. The fan in the bedroom without a handle on the window also did not work - it was very hot ! No tea towels or kitchen roll/ dishcloths for wiping down surfaces was provided.

The property was comfortable ,spacious and well furnished . The location was good for the beaches and the town centre.

The property would benefit from some maintenance - two of the windows wouldn’t open- a fan had been placed in a bedroom with the broken window but the fan didn’t work. The downstairs shower was either cold or scalding hot - no temperature control , the basin plug in this room didn’t work either. The carpet outside the kitchen was quite badly stained.

We loved where it is located. The ocean was a short walk away, as was the central shopping, and there were a variety of places to eat just doors away from the stay including an excellent chippie.

There is no parking provided, although we did find a spot close by, not all of the windows were working, there were no working fans and it was hot out. Also the crossing was loud and went off frequently. This might not be a problem in cooler seasons when windows are closed.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! We stayed here with two children aged 1 and 3. The host wouldn’t answer the phone until half hour after check in so we were waiting on the street. The house was dirty and smelt of wet dog and had someone’s socks left in a wardrobe. All of that I can forgive as a bad experience however we then found DRUG paraphernalia (A CRACK PIPE) in the kitchen! We tried to complain and neither booking.com or the host took it serious! This place is disgusting and would ask no one risks staying here especially with children!

Perfect location 5 mins for travel to town centre lovely accommodation 🙂
