Mews Cottage

Great location close to beach and shops. Property had everything one needed. Hostess communicated well so had directions and where to find key well before arrival. She also sorted early check in which was helpful. I enjoyed the free chocolates too.

I think it should say on the property description that the lounge and bedrooms are in the roof so sloping walls. I banged my head a few times. Being in the roof, the rooms are hot and no fans provided. A shower mat would be welcome too. As others have mentioned, the drive entrance is tight and the neighbour's daughter parks where one is supposed to park. She eventually came out on hearing my car and said she'd move her car and then took ages to do so. Grrr.

Parking issues with neighbours and lack of cleanliness

Spacious and comfortable, well equipped and the milk, wine and chocolates were a lovely welcoming touch that was much appreciated. Location is excellent as incredibly close to town centre, recreation ground and the beach. Great for families.

Just a shame there's no outdoor space or nice views, but this can't be helped, and it was only a 2 minute walk to the beach anyway.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was excellent, so close to everything. We were surprised to find two double bedrooms, as it was only advertised as having one bedroom, and we found this very useful.

Good location Difficult parking and none when we arrived as someone was in the allocated parking spot. Nice and spacious property, comfy beds , nice hot water and shower.

Black mould round the bath. Bit of a mildew smell just generally. Towels did not smell fresh. Dirty shower curtain. Hard floors dusty and grimy.

It was spacious and convenient, the host was friendly and helpful on the phone, there was wine and chocolates which was nice on arrival

The property needed a thorough clean. Corners and skirtings were grubby, lots of dirty marks on walls and the kitchen wasnt properly clean, things felt sticky and inside some of the drawers there was mess and bits. Felt like I needed to wash things before using. The bed was very short, and we are not particularly tall
