Mews Cottage

Location was perfect for our purpose. Shower was good and I found the bed comfortable.

Some constructive points...Front door was cracked and daylight was visible through. Just made you worry about security. Can imagine in winter or cold windy days this would also cause significant draft. Door to bedroom on right was also damaged and wouldn't shut properly. Cutlery- 2 knives with white handles were broken. TV really small but it did work OK Really wasn't clear from listing that there were 2 bedrooms so that was a pleasant surprise. Just felt place could do with a little tlc...perhaps deal with weeds outside the front and a new front door would make a massive difference but overall the cottage was lovely and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Comfortable cottage

Was quite cold as heating wasn’t on and took quite a while to heat up

The cottage was ideally located with only a short walk to the beach and train station. The host responded to our messages quickly and we were welcomed with chocolates and a bottle of wine. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and found it very cosy.

Fabulous location a three minute walk from the station and also right on the path to the waterfront. The living space is functional and cosy, very comfortable sofas to sink into after long walks along the Seven Sister cliffs. We walked from Seaford to Eastbourne and the return bus to Seaford was so easy and dropped off at the library very close to the cottage. It was lovely to have two bedrooms, and we slept very well. Excellent location, near to sea, supermarket and station. Cosy style, lovely furnishings upstairs. Good television and easy Wifi. Welcome items in kitchen

Information in property, no relevant information for managing property such as recycling/rubbish system or heating. It was very cold in the mornings. Lack of equipment. I missed having microwave, freezer or box, washing up bowl ( no dishwasher) tray, hair dryer

What we liked was the Convenient location, responsive host, wine, milk and chocolates appreciated, large bath sheets, water pressure was fabulous.

Extremely basic and sparse furniture, only decent mirror is on the wall above the bed!!! No microwave, coffee tables, dressing table or chairs in the bedroom , windows dirty, kitchen cupboards sticky, tiny tv. Only park your car outside accommodation if it’s small, tight parking spot. We are only little bit still banged our heads on sloping ceiling!
