Hampden Apartments - The Catherine

We would highly recommend this apartment. We travelled with two small kids and it was safe, secure and spacious. Everyone slept great. 5-10 minute walk intro town. Super easy directions given by host Jeremy on how to enter the apartment and get the keys. Jeremy was so helpful and accommodating. We would stay again in a heartbeat and I’m so glad we chose this apt for our trip to Legoland (15 mins) and Paultons peppa pig word (80mins)

Very central location about 5mins from the shops/train station. Spacious apartment that comfortably slept 5 adults. We were allowed to drop our bags off early before check in which we were grateful for. Great apartment with everything we needed and was value for money. Would stay again.

Entrance hall from the street could be more welcoming and clean (old post lying on the floor). The blinds in the bathroom were mouldy (we rolled them up so didn’t have to look at it) and could be changed. Also was very warm at night but there was a fan provided. We would still recommend this apartment - just some freshen ups required.

Grosszügige Wohnung, viel Platz, moderne Einrichtung, ruhige Lage

Sauberkeit nur mässig (z.B. verkalkte Dusche, einzelne Kissenanzüge nicht sauber). Wohnung insgesamt etwas dunkel.

Very close to town and property was clean. Host had left tea coffee and milk for us and there were condiments etc. available too. All linen provided and two bedrooms with a bathroom each was very convenient.

Not much we didn’t like but there were a few little niggles that could have made this property a lot better. Key instructions for the main door would be useful as the lock was a bit difficult at first. Other little things would have made a difference. For instance, grab handles in main bathroom would have helped as would a hook on back of bedroom door for dressing gowns. There was no mirror in smaller bedroom wall and there was a drawer missing which made a big difference. The lights on bathroom mirrors were not working and the blind in the small bedroom doesn’t have an operating rod which makes it difficult to get to window to open. These would have made a good property into a great property.

Clean & everything we needed. Instructions to entry very clear. Well laid out and good TV Wifi setup. Would stay here again 🙂

Lounge windows would not lock, plus 1 would not open much. Main bedroom large window wouldn't open, do feel that this should be possible for safety reasons. Lounge blinds broken, we wanted to pull them up but string was broken. These things didn't ruin our stay but do feel for security and safety they should be resolved, and wouldn’t be difficult to do.

Close to town and easy to access central London

The bed kept breaking, the shower was mouldy, the kitchen cupboard door broke, heating was set to 25, and he wouldn't lower
