Tarnside Cottages

I have been coming here since I was a child and returned for a few nights over the new year. As usual, everything was absolutely perfect! Anne and Maurice are the most caring and kind hosts hence the reason we have returned time and time again. The most relaxing place to relax and unwind, already planning our next trip!

Peaceful, beautiful location, lovely hosts.

Excellent stay in a comfortable lodge with everything you need for a self catering stay. Loved the log fire which was lit for our arrival which made it all the more welcoming. Not too far to travel into Brampton and the surrounding area to find things of interest. The lodge is next to the looseboxes of the horses which was nice to see on my morning dog walk. Hosts were very friendly would stay again if in the area.

Great location, beautiful clean, comfortable property in peaceful surroundings with friendly hosts. I had everything I needed there and will be returning again next year.

Lovely rural location, spacious and peaceful, with friendly owner, perfect for our trip to Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum, as well as the Astronomy Evening at Twice Brewed where we got to view the rings of Saturn through a telescope.
