Nice views, pet friendly and everything worked Always like a welcome pack too

I cannot manage the spiral staircase so we slept in the downstairs twin room. It would have been nice if the beds could be zip linked so you could choose to have the bed made up as a super king size at booking

Absolutely loved staying, very peaceful location. Anne was amazing, she started the log fire for us before we arrived as it was a bit chilly. Made sure we had the essentials. Thank you for the hospitality. Views and surrounding area are beautiful, this is a working farm, it was lovely to see all the animals around us.

Nothing it was perfect

A fantastic little lodge for a peaceful break! Anne was extremely accommodating & friendly.

Just a suggestion for the future for guests with dogs. An enclosed area out from the patio doors would have been marvellous.

We loved the accommodation, the views, the horses and the hens! Anne was a great host and we hope to visit again.

Everything was perfect. The property was in a lovely location which was so quiet and peaceful with great views of Talkin Tarn. It had everything that you needed for a great stay, lovely and clean and the beds are super comfy. The wine and eggs were much appreciated. Loved seeing the chickens and horses every morning and also the rabbits and pheasants wandering around. Anne and Maurice were just the perfect hosts and very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return soon.

Nothing

This was a wonderfully relaxing two night stay in the middle of a driving holiday. Anne was so.welcoming and the cottage was everything we could have wished for. A fully equipped kitchen (even a dishwasher) a lovely cosy living room and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. A glass of wine by the fire watching the sunset... what's not to love. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Nothing. It was pretty perfect

It was comfortable . And quirky. Comfy beds, nice location . The place was nice had condiments and tea coffee sugar. Staff friendly.

We had no hot water on first night .It was not ready when we arrived.at 4pm We only had half a firelighter, bought our own , no complimentary items. (Think Anne forgot) . View was nice apart from the rubble we looked onto outside our lodge. Fire alarm kept tripping when fire doors opened and when cooking .

Quiet location beside stable yard. Wood burner with plenty of fuel. Not far from village with local pub and food. House dog friendly. Close to Talkin Tarn with great walk and cafe.
