Lucid Apartment South Brisbane

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the museum, QPAC, Southbank and an easy stroll across the river to Queen Street Mall and the new Star complex.

Our apartment could have been much cleaner, with dust on the walls behind the doors, some dirt on the sheets and what looked like the dirt and hair from mop water that had been emptied into the kitchen sink. This made us unwilling to use any of the kitchen utensils and forced us to eat out for our meals. The shower heads were horrendous and amazingly put a plenty of water out but were unable to rinse soap of our bodies.

The views were amazing, it was my highlight of the stay. Also the pool ! A spectacular view to go along with it. One of the best views I’ve seen. I for sure will be booking again on my next trip back to Brisbane.

There was nothing to be disliked.

Lucid apartments are in an ideal location for visiting Brisbane. There are many cafes and restaurants near. It was ideal: just across the road from Southbank Cultural Centre (Museum, Library, Art Galleries) . It's also a quick walk across the bridge to Queen Street and the city centre. We rented two apartments to accommodate the whole family, both had lovely views and balconies. The two bedroom one was shabby, the upholstery on the settee was very grubby. The one bedroom apartment was spacious, well maintained and very comfortable.

We felt that the system for access was particularly difficult - there was no key in the lock-box for one apartment so we phoned and a new apartment was found for us. It would be much better to have proper face to face contact for questions and problems (eg how does the air-conditioning work). There was only one key per apartment (need two so you can have independent access). There was a fob system for the lift which only allowed access to your apartment's floor (understandable for security). In our case this made it difficult to get to the rest of the family in the second apartment on another floor. If it was possible to communicate those needs prior to booking it would be a great help but Lucid apartments are not directly managed by Booking.com which just acts as an agent for another apartment-letting organisation.

Great location and great views of the river and buildings in Brisbane CBD. Beds were very comfortable.

We got lost trying to get to our apartment from the car park. We got into the lift closest to the car park we were allocated. There were two people in the lift who informed us Lucid Apartments share the car park. They let us out at the ground level of their apartment building and showed us how to get to the Lucid Apartments.

It was clean and comfortable, beautiful views.

Poor communication as far as location of keys..Felt that instructions could of been. There was no tv and wifi.

The location is very convenient, very near fish lane and the museums and qpac. parking is included in the price of the unit. Unit was very lovely and view great.

Location and luxury without the big price tag.

Great location for QPAC and Lyric theatre. Easy check in process.

It wasn’t clean. There was dust and rubbish under the bed. Very noisy train line so unable to leave windows open. Expensive for what it is.
