Peachy Homes Apartment

Rooms very spacious and loved the street. So many eateries in a short distance. Fans were great on the very hot nights.

First floor and no lift. Travelers these days have real suitcases and women in particular have trouble getting them up the stairs. Even a goods lift would help. Keys difficult to manage. Getting in and out a challenge. Would have liked a writing desk and there is room for one. Hot water in shower only just warm. And the hidden cutlery drawer. We should have been warned about that.

Good location, just off the main throughfare, on a street with plenty of restaurants. A Tesco's express, very close, on the next street and a 24hr kiosk across the main road. Right next to the M3 metro line station, Karin Ter. The M3 is the one that goes close to the airport, followed by the bus E200, both can be used using a travel card or the Budapest card, so travel to and from the airport is very cheap and easy indeed. The M4 is accessible from the station. In the other direction, the M3 goes to the central station, where the M1 and M2 can be accessed. Above ground the trams 47,48,49 run to and from the centre, so all in all the apartment location is very well connected. Is is also not far to walk into the centre. The Hungarian National museum is just along the road and walking to the centre you pass the main tourist information office. The apartment itself was very spacious, plenty of room in both bedrooms and a lounge, kitchen dining area with plenty of seating and a large widescreen TV.

Although the apartment was spacious, the bathroom was fairly compact, although it was perfectly OK. Some of the door handles were coming loose and I think longer screws are needed to fix them. Getting into the apartment was interesting as there are many key boxes, however referencing the instructions I found the right one. Also i wasn't sure whether to keep the door to the lobby for the two apartments locked or unlocked, in the end I decided to leave it in whatever state I found it

Enjoyed pretty much everything.

I wish we were given a bigger blanket since we were in the winter stage. Also, wish i had more cushion for the beds.

It was close to the center.

The door handles in the bathroom and one of the rooms were loose. The beds make a lot of noise, also you can hear the people outside from the rooms. We had a hard time sleeping.
