Southbank Modern Luxe Apartment

No breakfast. We supplied everything ourselves

Only had seating for 3 people. We were a party of 6 adults. Insufficient tea towels, no dishwasher tablets, insufficient glassware, hand towels & face washers, garbage bags. The worst thing was being stuck in the lift twice.....the 2nd time was after it was fixed! Found we could use ONE fire exit without setting off the alarm. Air con in main living area did not work and apparently all air cons worked off one remote.shower head would not stay up. What I missed the most was no reception and no where to store our luggage. We arrived in Brisbane at 6am and could not access the apartment until 3 pm. Having said all this we would not hesitate to stay there again. It just needed a few things that weren't there.

Good location, Short distance walk to Southbank beach, Casino. There's a table tennis table at level 1. Secure complimentary parking. Washing machine and dryer, Easy letter box check in./out.

The shampoo, shower gel dispenser not top up. Drainage for the room sink slow. Renovation noise.

Great place to stay. Close to everything. The property manager was a great help. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Each bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning, the beds were comfortable, the laundry was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Apartment felt very spacious.

The lift was out of order the whole 3 days we were there. The pool was also empty and supposedly under maintenance which I thought was unusual given it was Easter and school holidays. The curtains in the living area were not wide enough and paint flaked onto the floor each time you opened/closed them. An extra armchair or couch would have been good.

Great location, very close to South Brisbane station and Southbank. Exceptional communication with the host; fast and reliable. Air conditioning in each room made it very comfortable in the heat of the day. Spacious areas

The couch is quite small for the space that it’s in - it can only fit 2 or 3 people max. The third bedroom’s bathroom is also quite small (with some mould on the ceiling) but obviously would be difficult to expand. The elevators in the building at times were also daunting.

some areas needed to be a bit cleaner
