Comfortable apartment with everything necessary inside!

However check in was provided with detailed instructions it would be really helpful to add some photo instruction, simply showing the way to the apartment. The “first” floor is not on the first floor in this building and it is not nice to search for the apartment in the darkness in the end of the day. The kitchen and bathroom/toilet doesn’t have any sound insulation.

I like the location; it was on the Buda side, which is more green and quiet.

The toilet was a nightmare. It made very loud noises due to an outdated system. We informed the host as soon as we checked in and noticed the issue. The host gave us some instructions and said it would be fixed, but no action was taken. We had to follow up multiple times and called the host repeatedly, but nothing was resolved. As you can imagine, no one goes on holiday expecting to deal with a broken toilet. The noise occurred every 10 minutes and was very disturbing, especially at night. The only suggestion we received was to unplug and plug the system back in after using the toilet. This felt unsafe, as water and electricity are involved. When I raised this concern, the host dismissed it instead of sending someone to fix the issue as promised. Another issue was cleanliness. Overall, the flat was clean, but some pots and pans were very dirty, so we had to clean them ourselves before use.

The location, close to the city.

The TOILET is IN THE KITCHEN. There is only a half wall built. You can hear and smell everything while the other person is eating or cooking. The toilet is also not a normal toilet. It has a MOTOR, and it is very loud. It woke me up several times during the night. The PHOTOS are MISLEADING! They are taken in a way that makes it look like the bathroom is a separate room. In the floor plan of the apartment, doors are shown. There are NO DOORS AT ALL. So if one person wants to sleep, the other person cannot, because of the light and the noise. The owner showed no interest in solving the problem or offering any alternative (for example, a folding screen or something similar). Outside the flat there is some kind of air conditioning unit (I assume), which is running constantly and is very loud. You can hear it clearly inside the apartment. The instructions on how to use the heater are incorrect. When we informed the owner, he just replied that we should read the description. He was superficially polite, but showed zero interest in finding a solution. If I had known what to expect, I would never have booked this place. If you cannot sleep and have no privacy even when using the toilet, the whole stay becomes pointless. The kitchen was also poorly equipped: only 1 wine glass, 1 dish towel for 9 days, and scratched Teflon pans (which are unhealthy/toxic).
