Good location, close to the tram. You can walk to the city center.

The apartment needs a deep cleaning, especially the kitchen and is ready for some light refubishment. It is in a very old old building next to tram so there is lots of noise every time the tram passes. Also u have to carry an apple tracker attached to the key of the apartment with you - otherwise they threaten penalties. Found it very bizarre and something that needs to be put upfront for future renters to know so they can make an informed decision.

This was a beautiful place to stay in Helsinki. A minutes walk from a lovely bayside walk, it was very quiet and tranquil. The decor was modern and homely, so we felt right at home the second we walked in. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the balcony was a great addition for a morning coffee. In terms of getting into the city, you can either take a 30 minute walk to get to where all the action is, or take tram Number 4 which leaves from just behind the building. (You can get tram tickets from the supermarket which is just about a minutes walk from the apartment building.) The property is also not far from the Viking Ferry line terminal. The distance from the city centre actually was a perk for us because it came with that quiet perk of a residential area, and ae emjoyed the walk along past the ice breaker ships and the Uspenskin Cathedral. Would certainly recommend, and would definitely plan to come and stay here again next time I'm in Helsinki!

A washing machine would have been nice, but not a real issue without it! The door was a little tricky to open at first, but once you understand how it opens it was totally fine (push the door slightly, put the key ALL THE WAY in, and turn to the left a little firmly until you hear the click!) 😉

Great location, close to the water, supermarkets, tram station. Clear check-in instructions received from the host, smooth communication, parking spot provided one street away from the building (5 minutes walking). The apartment can accomodate 4 people, bed sheets were provided for the couch and the couch was actually prepared for sleep when we arrived, which was really nice.

The bathroom was a bit incovenient as the shower glass has to be folded if you need to use the toilet. If someone takes a shower, a lot of water remains on the floor, then the next person using the toilet will sit with their feet on the wet floor. The bathroom floor is heated though, so that was nice. Also, we did find some cutlery in the kitchen drawer that were not exaclty clean, but overall it was good.

The property is spacious for a family. Location is also accessible near the city centre.

The access to get the key was complicated and very challenging for clients arriving late night or early morning, especially for women. It’s in an alley that was not very easy to find.

Ewerything was clean! The temperature on the streets were -8/-10, but the house was warm and nice. All furniture details were perfectly getting all together. The kitchen has everything to cook in and to eat from. Product shop is close to the place. The city center is 8 minutes away on the tram. Sea coast is close, so it is nice to stroll by. Thanks for keeping this place good! :)

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in a great location! It’s feels like you are at home. Right outside the tram stop or just a 15 minute walk into the centre. Very comfortable bed and super cosy when it was so cold outside. We really enjoyed our stay. The wifi was also very good. Overall great stay.

Sadly there is building work going on right across the road so it is very loud from 7am so recommend ear plugs. We were surprised during our stay when building work had to be done on the apartment and a new door had to be fitted, we were not made aware of this and upon contacting our host she was not aware of this. We had to leave the apartment for a few hours while this was done and it felt a bit uncomfortable. Finally when we booked there was a washing machine advertised, it’s has since been removed, this was not communicated to us and was disappointing to find out after we arrived. The host was apologetic when we questioned it but we had to spend time and money doing our laundry during our trip which was inconvenient.

The location of the apartment was perfect as the tram stop is literally outside of the building and a supermarket right next to it. Although there was construction work going on outside, you could barely hear it with the windows closed. The apartment is quite spacious and had much storage space for clothes etc. Also, everything was very clean when we arrived.

First, the description of the apartment we booked included a washing machine, which seems to have been removed quite recently(?) as there was none in the apartment. Due to this, we actually had some troubles with the drainage of the sink, as there was water dropping to the floor caused by unprofessional removal of a washing machine (this info was given to us by the janitorial staff). We informed the host and they immediately called the janitors to help. While we appreciated the quick and friendly action taken by the host, we would appreciated if we did not have this trouble in the first place. Second, the radiators did not get hot (except in the bathroom). The host offered us more blankets or hot water bottles. Luckily it’s not winter yet and it didn’t get too cold. Hopefully they will fix this soon. I personally felt that the sofa bed was not very comfortable as the mattress was very hard. Finally, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. I only feel like there could have been more forks, knifes etc. for four people.
