The appartment Is comfortable and the kitchen area well-equipped. But hardly justifying the adjective 'superb'.

The whole building smelt awfully of strong curry Apartment was dusty and dirty Shower was low and with no curtain Statues were so steep some people would not be able to get thier cases up

The location is great, very central and practical.

The place needs a good renovation, everything a bit old and musky. Also a bit crammed full with awkwardly big furniture. The kitchen is not very practical and not very well equipped.

Great location - easy walk into the centre, shops nearby. Comfortable beds.

Having to climb three flights of stairs. A dripping tap.

Immaculate apartment in a great location

3rd floor apartment with no lift. Some items broken - such as the bedside lamp

Host was available nearby. The apartment was so cool and accessible to city place. Clean and neat place.

Neighborhood was sketchy. While host had agreed that I could drop off my luggage early, there was nobody to receive me. On arrival., he told via WhatsApp to ring , that somebody would buzz me in, and that I could leave my luggage in the entrance—completely unattended! Somebody did buzz me in, but nobody came down. I waited 20 minutes in a smelly entrance with dirty sandals strewn around. The area seemed dismal and unsafe. Aside from that, it is not at all close to the main attractions as advertised. I'm not familiar with Brussels, so I only realized this after booking an alternative place. As there was a public transportation strike the following morning when i had to leave for another city, being far away from the train stations would have totally ruined my stay. Not to mention coming back late after sightseeing—not a safe prospect. I was lucky to find other accommodations on a short notice. Property manager refused to refund me, even the cleaning fee, when no cleaning was needed. Accused me of leaving the building door open—I just wanted to escape fast once i took stock of my predicament. I'm not sure how this got good reviews. I may not have seen the apartment itself, but the location was terrible and the security nil.. My advice is, research the area thoroughly before booking. Don't rely on the website, description or reviews only. It's a good thing i only booked for one night, since I got no refund.
