Au cœur de Bruxelles un superbe appartement .

Karim met us at the door and showed us to the apartment. The space was already set up with two twin beds in the "loft" area, perfect for my kids. There was a small but adequate kitchen area, a comfy couch and a table with seating for 4. Lots of storage space in the main bedroom, and several heaters throughout the apartment. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The apartment is at the top of a spiral staircase (2 floors) with no elevator. We had no issues, but it would be a problem with limited mobility. The stairs to the loft area are also very narrow and steep. Karim warned us the heaters would take a while to heat up (and they did!) but we were comfortable overnight and turned them off while we were out during the day. Close to several parking garages.

The part that holds the shower head on the wall was broken, which we reported to Karim. The shower was still usable, and had plenty of hot water, but it was more difficult to shower. It would have been nice to have control over the heaters. They seemed to be connected to wifi and we couldn't do anything other than turn them on/off.

Excellent location, good beds, nice people.

Place is quite rundown and not really clean. And expensive.

The location and the place was clean, but that was it.. I couldn't stay in the apartment!

There are three stories of narrow winding stairs that I had to climb carrying my bag, they didn't even offer to help me with it. Across from the apartment is a demolition site that was working till the late afternoon. As soon as I arrived and saw this I realized that I cannot stay there. A friend helped me move and i rented another place preferring to throw away the money than my comfort. The building smells of food all the time. And even though they saw me leave (they live on the ground floor) they didn't ask me anything and only sent a message the last morning to ask for the keys. They mention the 3 stories but not the fact that it is through a narrow winding staircase and no one offered to help me with the bags! What is more, they should have mentioned the demolition site and maybe gave a discount. I paid much less for an alternative airbnb and hotel which were much much better than this apartment.

The location and the family running the property are just flawless! Very friendly and welcoming people - something you may rarely come across in Brussels nowadays, unfortunately. I will definitely stay at their property when I have another business trip to Brussels scheduled!

I have nothing to complain about! I can just praise landlords like these people! They even proposed to keep our luggage for 5 hours after checking out, while doing our shopping and sightseeing! Real humble, righteous Muslim people! Nothing to the with the majority of the landlords in Brussels, who try to make money on your back literally out of everything! As for Brussels itself and its natives, however - yes, I can complain about them a lot. It is a real shame that in the EU capital of Christian Belgium, it is a family of Muslim immigrants that acts times much more politely and humanely in comparison to the locals! My honest gratitude, guys!

Shower not the best, specially if you are tall.

Good location. Good sized apartment. Comfortable bed and sofa.

Good shower, but no shower curtain/enclosure. No hot water in bathroom sink tap + no seal on plug. No lid for kettle. No tea towels for drying dishes. A number of fixtures and fittings need repair.

Very central location, close to the metro. The flat had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. The host was responsive and friendly.
