Great goodies/food left

Just the road to the property was bumpy with pot holes.

Very quiet and peaceful location with very good and plentiful continental style breakfast. The cottage was very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped and whilst the living room and kitchen areas were very spacious, the bedroom was a little tight.

Signposting to the property could have been a little better as we drove past the access road without even realising it was the road we needed to go down (Sat Nav was no help). Shared private access driveway to the property could also really do with some work as it was full of ruts and deep potholes and uncomfortable to traverse except at a crawl.

Beautiful surroundings, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming they cannot do enough for you. The cottage was perfect, warm comfortable and very homely with everything you could possibly need.

Care needs to be taken when travelling the long driveway leading to the cottage as it is full of pot holes and you need to drive very slowly to avoid them. The hosts are preparing to fix them.

We loved absolutely everything in Stag Cottage. Perfectly clean and beautiful location. We were made to feel at home straight away. Special treats like milk and butter in the fridge and home made bread on our arrival were just lovely to have. We would recommend Stag Cottage to anyone. It was just great!

Great facilities, quirky location, very comfortable, plentiful selection of food available, excellent real fire.

Nothing really but because of recent bad weather the road up to the property was a little bumpy but that was explained to us before our visit and well worth the effort once we got to the property.

Lovely cosy cottage with wood burner. Very clean with good facilities and nice breakfast hamper.
