Stylish modern Mews house in central St Leonards

Location

Great location, a few minutes from the beach and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Property was in a mews so no passing traffic and felt very private. Property decorated in modern and fresh manner with characterful iron staircase and furnishings.

A very pleasant place to stay. My only gripe would be the lack of a bin liner in the bathroom bin. The property was also advertised as having a DVD player yet despite there being a good selection of DVDs no DVD player could be found.

We weren't expecting breakfast. We really enjoyed the location. Plenty of things to do with good weather, a good prom.

We were very surprised to see so much food left by previous persons. Not properly wrapped and no idea how long it had been there? The kitchen area was pleasant but not fully equipped for self catering if you had your meals there. It would have helped to have re-iterated there was no washing machine and complete freezer as the weather was extremely hot. There was however a freezing compartment in the fridge. took a while to get use to no windows only roof lights, but they were good apart from the sea gulls! Car parking not for the faint hearted, and the open space is for cars, not for sitting out!

Everything was perfect, my only constructive feedback is parking in the spot was a right rigmoral, every day there were three cars parked in front of all the properties so the back and forth trying to avoid the walls was very stressful, I had a very expensive large car so was considerably worried of damaging it, perhaps a more in depth warning is advised.

The house offers everything you need and enough space. Everything is tastefully arrangend and well preserved. You can park your car in the courtyard infront of the apartement. Within 5 min of walking you get to the shore and the city-centre too. Everything is in walking distance. We can recommend staying there. The owner was very friendly and always reachable via in app notifications/mails. Thank you for a nice stay!

Not really a negative, but the gateway to the courtyard is really narrow and required some driving skills when in a bigger car;-)
