"Comfortable base near centre of Kirkwall"

An apartment within easy walking distance of the town centre. Living area, bedroom and bathroom all comfortably sized for two. Generally well furnished , although we didn’t like breakfast bar seating for dining (personal preference ). Off road parking, quiet area. Overall, we’d recommend.

Rather short on practical information. We didn’t find the clothes airer (under the bed) until after we’d festooned the door handles with drying underwear. No information at all about recycling and how to triage waste for this. This sort of information should be in a property handbook, you don’t want to be phoning or texting for it on holiday.

Ideal accommodation for a couple with everything you could wish for and more. It was modern with a homely feel. Lukas was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was ideally located to visit mainland Orkney with ease. Also only a 10 minute walk from Kirkwall. We hope to be back in the future.

The apartment was decorated very well and comfortable. Very clean and private. Parking provided directly beside. Well furnished and updated kitchen. Everything we needed! Pretty place.
