Casa Marene Ortigia

Alessandra met us on arrival and explained everything to us. We had a delightful stay in the apartment which was very well equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were exceptionally well cleaned and the location was perfect with restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance.

Location was good & near the water. Good communication with Alessandra on getting to the place & checking if everything was ok.

Tap in kitchen sink did not work. To fill up sink had to get water from bathroom with Kettle.

It was in a great location. Easy walk to piazza and restaurants. After. Tossing the parking lot the view was magnificent! The host met us at the property and was very kind and helpful.

The bathroom is downstairs and had a strong sulphur smell when we arrived. But after using the shower and flushing toilets it seemed to dissipate.

Our stay at Casa Marene was amazing! The apartment was in a great location, beautifully kept and had everything we needed. Wandering around Ortigia was wonderful and easily accessible from the apartment. Our dinner at A Levante was great. Alessandra was a lovely host and always responded to our questions - she even helped us book a taxi to the train station. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend.

There was no hand soap provided, but this was a very very small over site on an otherwise perfect stay!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well located – we really appreciated the stylish interior, comfortable bed, and convenient check-in. Everything we needed was there.

The scent of the laundry products (especially fabric softener and bleach) used on the bed linen and towels was quite strong and a bit overwhelming. The air inside the apartment also felt slightly humid at times.
