The place was awesome! You have your own apartment with a washing machine! Its very spacious and everything works great!

- check in was a little confusing as I was not made aware that I had to go to the caffe/restaurant where they serve you breakfast every morning to grab my keys - the power went out in the middle of the night on our last night and we didnt know who to contact but it came back on in about 4 hours

Very clean. Good air conditioner. Close to outer street that made it easy to find.

Very nice apartment situated in the quieter part of Siracusa (Ortigia). The area the place is in is not exactly next to the main square but it about a 5 minute walk. We really liked the area and the apartmen is very nice. There is a kitchen with many things in there if you want to cook. We didn't, but there are plenty of things available. It's steps from the water as well. Also it is spacious by apartment standards.

As everyone has said it is pretty confusing to figure out where to get the keys. It's at the cafe right down the street on the corner. Once we figured it out it was a breeze though.

Great location, charming room

Sent email 6hrs before arrival advising plane delayed. On arrival no contact available and never heard one word during 3 day stay.. Lucky staff in restaurant helped and rang owner to get access 1 am. Not easy to find location

no teabags!!! complimentary coffee, water, milk and some cereal but no tea bags! don’t think the Italians drink tea! you could hear noises from the apartment above which was fine apart from the fact you could literally hear everything when they were using the bathroom. not sure you can do anything about that though

The location is wonderful. We were fortunate to be able to find a free park close as they are extremely limited. We left the car there for three nights and just walked. The apartment has plenty of room and had all of the facilities that we needed. The market is close and it is only five minutes walk to the Roman ruins. From there it is easy to walk to other sites.

It was difficult to find the apartment. A friendly local walked us to the address and when there was no reply to the doorbell rang the number we had been given. Apparently the number of Booking.com is not the person who now manages the property. A local saw us struggling and took us to the nearby cafe where we managed to register and get the keys. They were pressured by their cafe work so left us to work things out by ourselves. It was a stressful beginning but we appreciated the location and enjoyed our stay.

The place was cute and spacious as shown in photos. Good location.

Very damp. The bathroom could use an upgrade. Shower was small and showed its age.

The staff went above and beyond. They upgraded us to a ground-floor apartment because they could see my husband had mobility issues. It wasn't ready, but they rushed to get it ready for us. It was perfect for us, and everything worked well. We had an issue with the bed in that during the night, the steel frame fell off the corner posts. We tried to put it back together, but it fell again. In the morning, we sent a message through booking.com. They sent a handyman over. When he couldn't fix it, he called the manager, and they came and replaced the bed. We were very impressed with how they took care of it. The apartment was very nice, roomy, and well set up. So close to be able to walk to restaurants, the fantastic daily outdoor market and shops. They even called a taxi for us when we were leaving. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this friendly, easy to get around town.
