"Location is ideal but building works/drilling at the back of the Quarter was very disturbing."

We should have been warned about the drilling all day long whilst another hotel is being built at the back of the Quarter. Another big aspect (which mattered to us as we were a family of four) was that the washing machine/dryer ruined quite a few of our new clothing items, it did not operate properly and overheated everytime. There is nowhere to hang your washing to dry and we had no option but to use the machine. Also some light fittings did not work.

Close proximity to all major attractions in Cape Town.

The sofas in the unit I was in should get deep cleaning. On the Saturday, I left a “ please clean the room “ sign hanging on my door around 12:00. When I came back later that night, the room was not cleaned.
