Modern Bo-Kaap Retreat with Mountain Views Pool

Location was great, with great views of the mountain. Modern appliances, modern bathroom.

We stayed there for 3 nights, I reported the Wi-Fi not working on the first day and the owner didn't do much to assist therefore we were without Wi-Fi for our entire stay, and so the tv could not be used. The painting above the bed just fell off the wall and I had a baby sleeping in the bed with me. The shower mat was dirty (black marks) upon arrival and the fleece blanket on one of the beds was dirty and had a dusty smell.

The interior decoration, very modern, is beautiful. The view on the Table Montain is amazing. A private parking inside the building is provided.

The view was amazing. The ceilings and walls were bare concrete which gave it a modern feel. The shower was awesome, great pressure. The place was a good size and the internet was good.

Nothing that negatively impacted our stay. I would like to mention that the kettle lid was broken and needs to be replaced, and there was no dishwashing liquid. Also, the plug in the bathroom basin needs looking at, it get's stuck shut sometimes.

Bo Kaap has a very unique history. The building, in a subtle yet bold way, fits in with the aesthetic of the area. The bright colours, the building design. It's wonderful. The view from the balcony of the mountain during the day is stunning. The city lights at night are mesmerizing. The space is cozy. Just what one needs when alone or with someone else. Two bedrooms with just enough space for yourself and your things. A clean bathroom, a kitchen with everything you need to self-cater (you will have to buy your own groceries. A living room with a tv and a work from home space that I used all week. Speaking of, the internet speeds were wonderful for streaming, and for the many Zoom calls I had this week. Any issue I had was almost instantly attended to just by making a call to the very friendly staff.

While not for everyone, I didn't have enough cleaning supplies. I like to stay in a clean space and could have used more surface cleaning materials to make the space more my own. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the quiet as well. Beds were suuuuper comfortable. Love the layout and decor. A gas heater was also available, nice touch.

Not necessarily didn't like but a few to mention; the kettle lid was broken, the TV froze and stopped working the Morning of our second day so no way of switching it off etc, no cloth to wash dishes but a drying cloth is available. Maybe more lounge chairs as well, or 1 more.
