Bantry Bay 2BR with Mountain Views

Pleasantly surprised that this property and the experience was better than the older reviews. Good to see the owners/apartment managers took the feedback seriously and addressed them. Very central, property isn’t busy or noisy, it was spacious

I think they can fix the blinds, just help with overall aesthetics of the apartment, the small heater doesn’t keep the place warm, so maybe look into getting a new heater especially because the apartment does not get any sunlight at all.

The room had a smell when we got there. Had to park my car outside. Blinds are damaged and spare blankets.

STAY AWAY!!!! The hosts of this place are disgraceful. We booked weeks in advance only for the booking to be cancelled on the morning of arrival. We were literally sat on the plane in Johannesburg about to fly down to Cape Town when they called to cancel. Apparently there was a water issue, which had been like that for over a month without being fixed. But they still took our booking and confirmed arrangements for key collection the day before we arrived. They didn't bother to try to fix the water problem, just told us there was nothing they could do and we should book somewhere else. However being Christmas week there was hardly any accommodation around Sea Point available and the prices of anything available were extremely high. This property company did not care. They refused to do anything and even stopped answering my calls. Being stranded in Cape Town as a family without accommodation almost ruined our holiday. This property and anything owned by Soughted Property Group should be taken off booking.com.

The set up was ok.

Our electricity was off since 11am the day before. I sent a message and got no response or help whatsoever. I called and was told id get a response in an hour, they did not however get back to us. When we finally heard back, we were told they did not pay their light bill. The one shower drain was blocked resulting in the bathroom floor flooding. Staying at this place was a major inconvenience.
