JOIVY Modern and Airy flat on the Historic Royal Mile

We loved the location and beautiful interior design of the apartment. It was spacious and the bathroom with underfloor heating was perfection.

Unfortunately, we did have a problem with extra bedding for the sofa bed as it wasn’t clean when we went to make our bed but once the issue had been raised Altido had made sure new bedding was there with us on the same day.

Location was fantastic, property was very clean and comfortable and well equipped.

The lock to the main door has very worn tumblers so the key is very difficult to turn. You need several minutes to softly prise it open every time. We booked for three people and once the booking was accepted were asked to pay an extra £20 for bedding if we wanted to use the sofa bed. There is a very small double in the main room so I don't know where we were expected to put the third person if we didn't use the sofa bed. This seemed very unreasonable. The sofa bed was also extremely uncomfortable.

The heating unit didn’t work and once reported was not fixed.
