Amazing location - great base for exploring the city

Perfect location for everything in central Edinburgh. Felt medieval from outside and modern inside. Steps going up were a challenge but very worth it when you got there. Property was clean and well equipped and the host was exceptionally helpful. Beds were comfy and lounge area had everything you needed.

The only reason it wasn’t a 10/10 was that instead of two double beds it would have been better with 2 single beds in each room that could be pushed together if necessary

Gorgeous property with a fantastic view of the nearby Christmas fair. Fantastic central location. Ivy was lovely & helpful & always replied quickly to messages. The beds were comfy & property was spotless. Power shower was fantastic!

The property is on Advocates Close with people regularly walking by which was a little noisy in the evening so maybe take some earplugs, however this wouldnt put me off from staying again as the apartment is beautiful & so central

The location was very central. The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable

No where did it mention the stairs. This place would be unsuitable for even a mildly disabled person. There are stairs getting to the property and stairs inside too. The entrance to the property and the staircase area was dirty and neglected. Plates in the kitchen cupboards were chipped. Nothing matched. One of the chairs at the table was broken and just placed back together so it came apart when touched. One of the couches had at sometime had the leg broken so they were removed and the couch was flat to the ground so it was very low. The downstairs area was cold and felt very damp. The couches felt grubby. The towels , while clean looked like they had been washed and left to air dry somewhere. They were hard and nobbly.
