Location! On High Street, absolutely convenient. Very well renovated, comfortable, cosy. Perfect for small groups who want to stay a few days.

Towels should be bigger and more fluffy. Light requires in entrance area.

Historic and very comfy! Our host, Ivy was overly accommodating. The apartment was warm, clean and excellently located! The close made us feel like we stepped back in time.

Fabulous location just off the Royal Mile. In walking distance of most major sites and a short walk from the train station. The apartment is a reasonable size for 4 adults and is well equipped. The weather outside was cold, but the heating kept everything cosy inside. We arrived early and Ivy kindly let us drop off our luggage well in advance of the check in time. I would definitely look at staying here again next time I visit Edinburgh.

The door to the main bedroom is really squeaky, so much so that it woke up our daughter in the other bedroom on more than one occasion. There was a lot of condensation on the old sash windows. This is to be expected, but might have been less of an issue if the extractor fan in the en suite was working. It was January and very cold though, so it wouldn't be much of a problem in warmer months.

Fantastic central location right in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the Royal mile. Host Ivy was extremely helpful and accommodating. Cute apartment equipped with basics like detergent and tea bags, integrated Netflix and Prime on the TV. We had a great view of the Scott's monument and Star Flyer at the Christmas markets from our bedroom window. Overall a really nice, comfortable stay.

Since the location's so central, you will get a bit of noise from groups coming up and down the close late at night. We were there over Hogmanay so probably exacerbated, but pack earplugs just in case. Few tiny things could be improved, like oiling some of the door hinges, providing oven mitts, and giving instructions about what to do with rubbish if you're staying a little longer.

No clothes dryer

Great location, lovely and clean, and also had everything we needed for our stay. Ivy was very helpful and friendly and always responded promptly when we messaged. Would 100% recommend this place and would happily return again in the future.

this apartment is located on a very popular close. there were often people taking a look at the view down the close which could be a little noisy.
