The West Bow Apartment

We loveeeed the location, maybe for some it would be abit busy but we love to people watch so it was great to just sit by the window and watch the world go by :) it also had everything we needed including the dvds, that was really lovely :) also the host was moreeee than accommodating with wee messages throughout to check we were okay or needed anything.

Wr didn’t love that there wasn’t a lock on the inside door into the apartment. We are quite paranoid about being in a different city so this made us uncomfortable. Also I few wee areas of cleanliness such as the kitchen floor/kick board, shower grime and bathroom ceiling but I think we are just particularly fussy about those wee things.

The location was good, very spacious apartment.

There was a constant dripping noise in the bedroom and damaged floor boards in the bedroom.

The location is central and strategic, you can leave your car and walk around comfortably. The flat is beautiful, clean and well furnished. Even the details like appliances, towels, etc. are of a very good standard.

The location is great. Very convienent to get to all attractions.

The keys to the lock box did not work right away. One lock took us 15 to 20 minutes to get it open. No onsight assistence either. Since you are in the heart of the area it can be loud on a Saturday night very late. The toilet flushing device was also broke and had to use a straw to flush toilet. But we made it work and notified owner.

The location. It was clean and comfortable for us.

There was no hot water. The door took 20 minutes to unlock as it was faulty which guest services knew about. There was no lock on the door when you enter the apartment for extra security. Only a lock to enter the building.

Lovely, spacious apartment which was very clean and modern! Very well equipped too and ideal for people watching with a cuppa. The host was able to accommodate an earlier check in which was fab!

The toilet doesn’t have a flusher, there’s currently 3 reed diffuser sticks sticking out which are acting as a temporary flusher. Probably something that should be fixed as a priority or reflected in the price of the apartment. There was a slight panic when we were advised the day before our booking may need to be cancelled due to us being “local” (we live about 12 mines away from this apartment. Can “locals” not have a night away in town?), wasn’t expecting that and did cause some upset to think our plans might be cancelled at such short notice so one to watch if you are near by and looking for a night away.
