Welcome Home Syros Port Apartment

In a word Excellent. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. There was a balcony out front where we enjoyed a sun downer watching the ferries come and go. A 2nd balcony off the main bedroom was more spacious but no views. Our hostess, Iakovina , met us at the port, the apartment is a 2 minute walk, and brought us to the apartment. She gave us lots of recommendations many of which we used and were very good, She gave us the name of her favourite beach which was wonderful and we visited each day. Her communication was excellent and she responded quickly to the few queries we had. We would highly recommend and will certainly look to use again should we visit Syros.

What a great find. This apartment is awesome. We were greeted at the ferry, and there was a welcome drink, biscuits, and some tea and coffee when we checked in. Iakovina is a fantastic host who welcomed us, and gave great recommendations for the island. The view of the harbour and the comings and goings of the ferries is entertainment itself. There is an elevator in the building that made it accessible and easy for our 80 yr old father. The apartment has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, but we only had breakfast there. The beds are very comfortable, the apartment is spotless, the washing machine and clothes horse came in handy. We look forward to our next trip.

This was our second visit to Welcome Home apartments as we enjoyed our stay so much last year. The apartment was great for our family. Comfortable and spacious, washing machine, well stocked kitchen, great location at the port and near the bus station for visiting other parts of Syros but easily walkable to everything in Ermopouli. We love it!

The property had everything you needed, it was like a home away from home. Washing machine, iron, kitchen and two balconies. Iakovina is the most wonderful host, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Everything was perfect. What I didn’t like is that I had to leave! Wish I could’ve stayed longer.

The location was great, just right behind the port. The apartment is large, has two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, nice balconies. The host was very welcoming and friendly.

I think the apartment was pet friendly and because of that we noticed some pet hair here and there. I think a detailed vacuum cleaning would have solved that.

Perfect location right opposite the port. Very spacious beautifully presented and clean apartment . Double glazed doors offer a peaceful night sleep while traffic is buzzing below. Wonderful cafe downstairs and close to all restaurants and bus station . Host is very helpful. Loved this apartment

Everything was perfect! These are the best apartments on the island of Syros. Excellent location, cozy rooms, comfortable bed, beautiful view. Thanks, Iakovina!

Amazing location overlooking busy port . Great for watching comings and goings of ferries and yachts from balcony . We loved it . Huge apartment that is very clean and well equipped . Iakovina met us from ferry and gave us a very comprehensive run down of town and the island . She was great !. Also some great recommendations for restaurants . - Went to Mammo’s twice ( we never do this on holiday ) as the food is so good there . Would highly recommend - we will be back . Thanks so much Iakovina !

The proximity to the port, being able to observe close up the comings and goings of vessels at the port, the water views, proximity to restaurants, car rental and bus stop. Syros itself is an interesting island with some lovely spots for swimming. Iavokina is a very warm and welcoming host, who provided us with a great introduction. She couldn't do more to make us feel welcome and at home!
