Welcome Home Syros Port Apartment

Well located providing close access to cafes/restaurants and super market. Nice spacious and well appointed accommodation. Iakovina (the owner) was very helpful in providing information on things to see and do.

Great location overlooking the port. Really enjoyed watching the ferries come and go. Spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. It has plenty of outside space with a front balcony and back terrace. It’s on the 3rd floor but has a lift! The host was lovely meeting us off the ferry and making sure we were comfortable. Great restaurant recommendation - To Petrino - very authentic food and good value. No car needed we used the local bus to go around the island! Delighted by the apartment and Syros!

Property was perfect! I must remember to check public holidays - it was Greek Easter so many shops were shut!

I had never stayed in such a well-equiped holiday flat. There is everything you need! And it was super clean, and the host was very nice. Careful on arrival to follow her explanations and not Google Maps which sends you to a wrong place (further on the same street).

We were welcomed by the host at the ferry and she helped us with our bags to the apartment. We were given an explanation of the apartment and good recommendations on where to eat and things to see. We had a late ferry and the host allowed us to leave bags in room until departure. Loved the action of the port and we were a short walk to everything.

Bed was a little to hard for our taste.

The apartment was lovely and spacious in a central location.

The owners of the taverna downstairs (not associated with the apartment) made a complaint because we were sweeping the balcony and something fell off. They were rude to us.

The host was gold! Very responsive, kind, helpful and accommodating of every need.

We really enjoyed our stay - great apartment for a family - had everything we needed including a washing machine which was very handy. Great location at the port - close to everything. Recommended!

It was lovely and spacious

What we didn't expect was to be met at the ferry port on our arrival to Syros. Our host recognised us from our booking.com photo, met us and led us to her apartment (which was too far from the ferry terminal). She showed us through the apartment, gave us the WIFI details and her Whatsapp number. She lives in the building and was on hand at a moments notice to assist, if and when we may have needed her. Unit apartment was better than described in the photos. Lots of room, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, ultra comfy bed, location was brilliant (walk to everything including the bus to take us around the island and to various beaches). The bathroom and kitchen had all the things you would expect and more. There is a lift in the building so need to carry bags up the stairs to the third floor.

As the apartment is right on the road in front of the port where the ferries come in and also next to the ship yard, there is so much noise. There is a road between the apartment and port and it is a very busy road. However, the minute you close the doors and windows and turn on the air conditioning, there is completely no sound. It is just wonderful and a peaceful sleep is assured.
